Welcome to the 1st Signal Brigade Association website!!!! Once
the largest brigade in the United States Army, the 1st Signal Brigade
has served our country well establishing theater wide communications
during conflict in Vietnam/Asia and continuing in Korea during the Cold
War and through the global tensions of today.
The highlight of the brigade is it’s people. We admire Vietnam
veterans who not only enabled military and civilian activities to
communicate but also supported orphanages, tutored and served as
ambassadors to their local communities. We salute our soldiers who
met the challenges of the cold war in Korea and work through our current
dynamic situations and continue to represent our country with the
highest of standards.
The 1st Signal Brigade Association was organized to promote
comradeship among members past and present, to preserve the historical
heritage of the 1st Signal Brigade and the U.S. Army Signal Corps, and
to promote and establish activities in furtherance of its
purposes. We hold reunions in even numbered years and network in
between. We participated in the 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam
Wall Memorial activities and marched in the parade. We’ve
contributed to the Fisher House at Fort Gordon, GA, the Boys and Girls
Club at Sierra Vista and the Hanbit Blind School in Korea. We look
forward with enthusiasm and welcome your ideas.
Please enjoy our website, join in our camaraderie and share your
patriotic service.
